About

Built to grow: engineering first, manufacturing next, products after that.

WRYGT exists because too many hardware programs treat engineering and manufacturing as two separate problems, handed off between teams who've never spoken to each other. We stay close through the build today, managing supplier relationships ourselves, and we're building the in-house manufacturing and product capability to eventually own more of that path directly.

Why We Exist

Design and manufacturing keep getting treated as two different problems.

They aren't. A component goes obsolete and nobody connects it to the layout decision that made replacement hard. A design transfers to a new supplier and the reasoning behind a dozen small choices doesn't transfer with it. A test protocol gets written after the hardware is already frozen, instead of shaping it.

What We're Building

One team, accountable for the whole path.

WRYGT is structured so the engineers who make a design decision stay close to how it actually gets built. Engineering is our core today; contract manufacturing runs through a supplier network we manage directly, and in-house manufacturing capability is the next stage we're building toward, not a claim we make before it's true.

How We Think

Three things we hold onto on every program.

Say the honest version

If a redesign is required, we say redesign, not "simple part swap," even when that's not what a program wants to hear. Bad news early is cheaper than good news late.

Document like it'll be audited

Test protocols, DFM notes, and change records are written to the standard of a design history file, because for most of our customers, that's exactly where they end up.

Make the ask concrete

"We need more resources" isn't a plan. We scope engineering effort by discipline and deliverable, so the people approving it know exactly what they're approving.

Where We're Headed

Engineering → Manufacturing → Products.

Built in stages, on purpose, not claimed all at once before it's true.

StageFocusWhat It Means
Now Engineering Schematic/PCB design, DFM, obsolescence & BOM scrub, and test & validation engineering, with contract manufacturing coordinated through a supplier network we manage directly.
Next Manufacturing Building real, in-house PCBA and box-build assembly capacity, so more of a program's volume moves inside the same accountable team that designed it.
Later Products Using that engineering and manufacturing foundation to develop and own WRYGT's own hardware products, not just client programs end-to-end.
